Lubbock will host a number of charity fitness events benefiting a variety of organizations and causes over the next few months. Some up coming local events include:

• Summer Camps - Register Now!

Call your neighborhood Community Centers to signup for a summer full of fun, games and activities. Regular camps are $75/week at Maxey and Hodges and run June 2-August 22.  Space is limited!

 

• Parks Photo Contest - Entries Due June 26 and June 27

  Enter your framed photographs taken in one of Lubbock’s 75+ parks for our 5th Annual Photo Contest!  Deliver your photos to the Garden and Arts Center at 4205 University.  For rules, call  767-3724.

  Entries Due:  Thursday, June 26, 4-9 pm and Friday, June 27, 9 am-4 pm

  July 7 - Reception  6:30-8:30 pm with Awards Ceremony at 7:00 pm

  Exhibit Dates:  July 5-25 

• Adult Basketball League

League begins June 1st at Mackenzie Park. $495 per team. Register at Parks and Recreation office, 775-2672.
